I had the opportunity to attend the AMD Slingshot Event — and it turned out to be far more than just an event.

A bit late in sharing this, but definitely a milestone worth reflecting on.
Earlier this year, our team AEGIS secured a position among the Top 305 teams in the prestigious IIIT Delhi Hackathon 2025.

What made this journey meaningful wasn’t just the outcome—but everything that led to it. From brainstorming ideas to long nights of building and debugging, it was a phase filled with learning, pressure, and growth. Competing alongside some of the most talented teams across the country pushed us to think deeper, execute better, and stay resilient.

This hackathon was more than a competition—it was an environment that encouraged collaboration, innovation, and real problem-solving. The challenges, interactions, and overall experience helped us gain insights that go far beyond what classrooms can offer.

Proud of the effort our team put in—every iteration, every fix, and every hour invested played a role in getting us here.

A little late in sharing this—but definitely worth it.
About a month ago, I had the opportunity to participate in HackO’Clock 2.0, a 24-hour hackathon organized by GDG IILM University.

I competed alongside my team Aegis, and the experience turned out to be both intense and incredibly rewarding.
Our journey:
• Cleared the initial online screening round through pitching
• Selected for the offline round
• Ranked among the Top 50–60 teams
• Advanced to the Top 10 finalists after multiple pitching rounds
• Faced a final surprise challenge—a Shark Tank-style presentation

I’m glad to share that we secured Rank 5 among the Top 10 teams.
What stood out the most was the pressure-driven environment—constantly refining ideas, making quick decisions, and presenting with clarity and confidence.

One of the highlights for me was interacting with Uday Sharma, where we had a meaningful discussion around building strong tech communities and leadership at the grassroots level—truly insightful.
Kudos to Harshit Singh and the entire organizing team for delivering such a well-structured and high-energy event.

It was also great connecting with Shivam Mishra during the hackathon.
Grateful for the experience and everything it taught me.

I am pleased to share that our team has successfully completed the e-Yantra Robotics Competition (eYRC 2025–26), organized by the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay).

Working under the CropDrop Bot (CB) theme, we successfully executed all assigned tasks and achieved Level 2 Certification—a recognition that reflects our comprehensive understanding, full-scale implementation, and positioning among the top-performing teams (Top 10–30) across India.

Our journey, spanning from August 2025 to March 2026, was defined by continuous learning, experimentation, and rigorous execution:
• Task 0: Software environment setup and toolchain validation
• Task 1: Building foundational concepts and solving initial challenges
• Task 2: Deep dive into the problem statement and advanced technical exploration
We were honored to be shortlisted for Stage 2 in the CropDrop Bot theme, where we received a complimentary hardware kit. Notably, our team also secured the highest score in Stage 1 within our category.
• Task 3: Development of algorithms, navigation systems, arena design, and hardware testing
• Task 4: Sensor interfacing, embedded system integration, PID control, and reinforcement learning implementation
• Task 5: Mini system-level implementation of the complete solution
• Task 6: Final submission, including demonstration video, source code, and evaluation run

Throughout this experience, we worked extensively with Embedded Systems, Robotics, Control Systems, Reinforcement Learning, Algorithm Design, PID Control, Sensor Integration, and 3D Design, utilizing tools such as CoppeliaSim, STM32CubeIDE, and Git.

I would like to sincerely thank Krashnkant Gupta Sir for his constant mentorship and invaluable guidance throughout this journey. His support played a significant role in shaping our approach and execution.

I also extend my heartfelt gratitude to our respected leadership for their encouragement and support:
Dr Ajay Rana Sir for his visionary leadership, and Dr. GAURAV MISHRA Sir for his continuous guidance and motivation.

Although we narrowly missed advancing to the finale, the experience has been immensely rewarding—strengthening our technical capabilities, problem-solving mindset, and collaborative skills.

Just wrapped up my second 36-hour coding marathon at Galgotias International Hackathon (GIH) — and what an adrenaline-filled experience it was!

Our team WIMP built and pitched AEGISAI — an AI-powered cybersecurity mesh equipped with adversarial AI defense layers, real-time bot detection, LLM fingerprinting, zero-trust enforcement, and behavioral analytics.

We were honored to be selected in the Top 30 out of 150+ teams and received incredible feedback from MNC judges encouraging us to take AEGISAI to the next level in the market!

Massive gratitude to my amazing teammates Jagdeep Singh and Rishabh Gusain — this mission would’ve never taken flight without their brilliance, late-night hustle, and technical firepower.

This experience showed us what’s possible when vision meets collaboration, under pressure. Onwards and upwards! 💪
